Product Design Team Lead · 10+ years
I’m a Product Design Team Lead with over ten years of experience designing complex digital products, leading design teams, and turning technical systems into products people can actually use.
My work sits between product, business, users, and technology. I translate complexity into interfaces people can understand, trust, and use.
Where I’ve worked, what I led, and the projects that shaped how I design.
Leading a design team of four designers, including myself, across mobile apps, installer tools, desktop software, web portals, keypads, and wearable experiences. Responsible for design direction, team growth, hiring, mentoring, design reviews, cross-platform consistency, product processes, and design systems.
Joined as the only product designer and helped establish the product design function inside the company. Designed complex security, smart home, and professional installation workflows across mobile and desktop, translating technical requirements, device logic, permissions, and real-world constraints into clear user experiences.
Designed digital products, websites, brands, and user experiences for different initiatives and clients, combining visual design, UX thinking, product logic, and business understanding. This grew from a strong foundation in typography, branding, layout, visual systems, and storytelling that still shapes how I approach product design today.
Founded and designed Bo Nahlif end to end: the product concept, brand, UI/UX, marketing direction, and growth thinking.

Design runs through everything I do. It shows up in the way I look at plants, letters, objects, systems, and small details.
What started as a hobby became another way to observe systems: light, humidity, growth patterns, care routines, small changes, and long-term patience.
There is something very similar between growing plants and designing products: both require attention, iteration, and understanding what each thing needs in order to grow.
Lettering and calligraphy taught me to look at rhythm, spacing, contrast, personality, and detail.
It is a different kind of design thinking: slower and more emotional. It reminds me that good design is about feel as much as structure.
Before and alongside product design, I worked on visual design, branding, identity, digital products, and independent projects. These projects shaped how I think about design as a full experience, beyond a single interface.
A design project that explored concept, visual language, interaction, and storytelling. It helped shape my foundation as a designer and my ability to connect idea, form, and user experience.
Branding for a graduate exhibition: visual identity, typography, layout, and communication materials. This project connected design systems, visual direction, and real-world presentation.
Bo Nahlif was an entrepreneurial project I founded and designed end to end. I was responsible for the product, brand, marketing, UI/UX, and growth thinking. It gave me a practical understanding of what it means to build something from zero, owning the entire experience rather than the design alone.
A small collection of branding, UI, visual experiments, and creative work that shows the broader range of my design practice.
Whether I’m designing a security system, building a design team, growing a rare plant, or drawing letters by hand, I’m usually doing the same thing:
